Hello,
I am working on an education research project with the Icelandic and South African government, European Union and partners throughout Europe and Africa. This project, based on the American Davis Dyslexia Correction Programme, aims demonstrate that we can free up annual special needs resources worth 2 billion ISK in Iceland, £2 billion in the UK, and $15 Billion in the USA. At the same time we aim to save in the region of $10 billion in US correctional services, and £2 billion in the UK prison system through reduced re-offending rates as a result of highly effective rehabilitation/education programmes.
See document here: http://www.gifteddyslexic.com/dyslexia-in-scools/dls-can-free-up-resources-in-education

I am aware that I have missed the deadline this year, but I was hoping to run a TED-Ed in Reykjavik in June 2016, where, in collaboration with the Reykjavik education department and Icelandic Members of Parliament, we could present these plans to representatives from the UK and USA governments.

Please let me know if there is any chance to join at this late stage.

Kind regards,

Axel Gudmundsson
Director of Gifted Dyslexic, Davis Dyslexia Association Africa, and Capella House school.
