5 back-to-school tips for teachers and parents

Back-to-school time is the perfect moment to reboot your routines. Ready to try something new? From big ideas to small innovations, here are 5 tips to help you start off the school year on the right foot.

1. Adopt a growth mindset. Kids need to hear that their abilities are not “fixed” at birth, and that there is always room to improve. To teach students about the power of a growth mindset, share this TED-Ed Select.

  3. Great tips! I like that your first suggestion is to teach children that there is never a limit to how much knowledge they can get and there is always room to improve. I think that this is really important to learn while you are young. I think that this should also be taught all throughout your education. I feel that sometimes college graduates forget that they still have a lot more to learn.
